About the Project
The free acoustic guitar course offers a comprehensive musical experience for up to 10 young locals from the Jericoacoara community, integrating music theory and practice.
Classes will take place at the Cultural Center - Praia Bitcoin Jericoacoara (formerly Pousada do Serrote) and will culminate in a Christmas performance, celebrating the students' learning and growth. Over eight classes, students will learn from the fundamentals of lighting to techniques for creating and operating lighting setups for cultural events.
This course will be funded exclusively by Bitcoin donations, encouraging participants to incorporate the use of Bitcoin into their daily lives and integrating them into the Bitcoin Circular Economy of Jericoacoara.

Vision and Model for Other Communities
The project was conceived by Fernando Motolese, founder of Praia Bitcoin, as part of the incentive program for the Bitcoin Circular Economy of Jericoacoara. It serves as a model for other circular economies around the world, empowering teachers and students to benefit from a sustainable and decentralized economy.
Through the Local Bitcoin Community Bank and the programs developed to encourage the circular economy in Jericoacoara, we offer various microfinancial services that integrate Bitcoin into the community's daily life.
Through the BtcPay Server, an open-source Bitcoin payment processor running on a small local server, residents develop crowdfunding projects that receive Bitcoin donations. The funds are sent directly to wallets under the custody of the residents themselves, without fees or intermediaries.
With LNbits, an open-source Lightning wallet running on another local server, we facilitate various types of microtransactions and offer a tool for managing the rewards of our training programs for children, teenagers, and adults.
Additionally, the course instructor receives full training to create on-chain Bitcoin wallets, store them securely, and has a financial assistant to prepare the project's expense report, using Bitcoin-based accounting.
Proof of the projects developed can be viewed on our social media.
